Earn those Toys!

Yesterday I was ranting about our spoiled children and I decided that today would be the day to change life as I know it. I am tired of spoiled rotten kids who think that my only reason for being is to be their money bank. So I did a little research and I really want to share with you an awesome website that might, just might, save the day for us over-the-top parents.
www.handipoints.com
CHECK IT OUT! You register your children online, you pick out chores that they do - and then you grade those chores. The kids get points for how well they did their chores and then they get rewards. The best part is that you, the parent, are in complete control! Yes, we still have control over something!
Not only do you get to create the chores, but you also get to take points away for wrong behavior - and you get to decide the prize. Plus, the kids not only earn the rewards but they also get to play in Handiland! It is kind of like Webkins... they start with a cat, pick the breed and name and then when they earn points they can buy clothes, play games... etc on Handiland.
I tried this out tonight on my almost nine year old and she was in heaven. She even went to bed tonight without the usual griping that I get!
I'm outta here for now - ready to start grading my youngsters tomorrow!
