New Year's Eve with the Kids - Celebrity Style (LINK)
December 28th 2007 08:57
The ivillage website show that you can still have fun on New Year’s Eve even if you have kids and no babysitter with their twist on a star-style kids' New Year celebration .
Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes - Fancy Dress Party
Young mum Kate Winslet enjoys dressing up with daughter Mia and would be the perfect hostess of a fancy dress party. The theme would be cartoon characters and she and director boyfriend Sam Mendes would make a comical Minnie and Mickey Mouse! The food and drink could also be themed, with Tarzan's Elephant Burgers and Buzz Lightyear's Turbo-Boost Juice.
Zoe Ball and Norman Cook - Disco and Fireworks
Zoe Ball and Norman Cook used to be clubbers, but since the arrival of Woody both have calmed down. Two years on, they might host a mini rave of their own with cocktails, fruit punches, party poppers and Fatboy Slim on the decks. They would honour the stroke of midnight with a small firework display in the back garden.
Madonna and Guy Ritchie - Film Matinee
Pursuing their own interests in film, Madonna and Guy could treat Lourdes and Rocco to an afternoon at the movies. There are plenty of films to choose from - Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets (PG), The Santa Clause 2 (U) or Lilo & Stitch (U) - and you could follow it with a fun meal at a theme restaurant such as the Rainforest Cafe.
Patsy Palmer - Pantomime
With children ranging in age from 18 months to ten years old, ex-EastEnders' Patsy Palmer might find it easier to catch a local panto, which has something for everyone - she might even see some of her old colleagues! Returning home with large foam hands and goodie bags, the family would order takeaway pizza and celebrate in quiet style.
Victoria and David Beckham - Disneyland
Fleeing the pressure of the last year, the Beckhams could escape on a magical holiday to Disneyland Paris. Brooklyn and Romeo would enjoy the entertainment and disco in the Disney Village, while staying in the themed rooms at the onsite hotel would make for a truly memorable New Year's Eve celebration.
Sounds interesting but after a busy Christmas I'm happy to spend a quiet night in relaxing with friends, with my daughter tucked up in bed asleep.
What will you be doing this New Year?
